We’re launching our Women 2.0 City Meetup across the Bay May 1st. Join Us!

By Shaherose Charania (Founder & CEO, Women 2.0)

We’re already present across the pond in the UK, across the border in Mexico City, and across our other border in Vancouver; now, we’re gearing up for a shorter reach across the Bay Bridge to the eclectic city of Oakland!

Three years ago, our friends at Kapor Capital, a fund dedicated to funding minority founders and social impact technology companies told me, “we’re moving to Oakland!” We’ve been in touch ever since and are thrilled to be joining them at their home-base. Kapor Capital has been a long-time supporter of Women 2.0, sponsoring tickets to our conferences for low-income, minority technology founders, and for that we are grateful!  We’re excited to work with Kapor Capital and our new friends at Pandora to support a diverse ecosystem of founders, tech workers and investors.

The launch will take place May 1st at the Pandora Offices, and if you can’t make it this time, don’t worry, this will be a regular occurrence on the first of every month! We could not be more thrilled to spread our presence to the equally — if not more — creative and diverse neighbor of San Francisco and Silicon Valley.
