Every woman deserves to have her own advisory panel.  As part of 40:20 Vision’s mission to start conversations and facilitate mentoring between generations, we offer live mentoring events between older and younger entrepreneurs.

The idea is that we can have more than 20:20 vision if we share our knowledge in a mentor-like, collaborative setting.

7X7 is not a networking event or cocktail party. Rather, it’s a group of 7 experienced and 7 aspiring / new female entrepreneurs getting together to exchange wisdom and experience. It’s a chance to get your issues out on the table and get feedback. The next 7×7 Mentoring Salon will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 6:30pm to 9pm at New Work City.

Big thanks to New Work City and Sara Chipps of Girl Develop It for this amazing space! We all can learn from each other but to make the event most balanced. We are looking for a mix of more experienced and less experienced entrepreneurs:

Mentor: At least one startup under your belt beyond early-stage, an experienced startup advisor, investor, legal counsel, mentor, or reporter well entrenched in the startup community.

Mentee: Boot-strapping / early stages of a startup or have an idea, a passion, an entrerpreneurial spirit and are working double time to get it started.
