Mary Rinaldi and Ariella Steinhorn met over drinks in Brooklyn during the summer at the suggestion of a mutual friend. They found they had so much in common (passion, outspokenness, brainy-ness) that they decided to work together on something really big. In November 2018, they co-founded Simone to help employees fight back against discrimination, sexual harassment and toxicity in the workplace. Ariella currently consults as a communications and strategy expert and has worked across the tech space, at Uber, ManagedbyQ and others. Mary currently consults as a product expert and has worked internationally across major finance organizations and small tech start-ups.
