TIME magazine’s annual 100 list of the world’s most influential people is out. Each individual is described in accolades by another influential person in a postcard moment.
Here are some notable women in tech in the TIME 100, as described by another TIME-worthy notable individual:
Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook COO, 43
“Among her most radical suggestions is that if a woman wants children, her most important career decision is who her partner is, and if a man wants children, he could also raise them.”
Daphne Koller, Coursera co-founder, 44
“After a number of false starts, it finally looks as if online education has real traction.”
Marissa Mayer, CEO, Yahoo, 37
“Because of everything Marissa has done and will do in the future, their search is infinitely more likely to produce positive results.”
Erica Kochi, Development Geek, 33
“Two young UNICEF staffers — Erica Kochi and Christopher Fabian — moving fast within their 66-year-old organization, have made registering a birth as easy as sending a text.”
