The annual Women 2.0 Startup Competition launches today!

By Angie Chang (Co-Founder & Editor-in-Chief, Women 2.0)

After hosting the successful 5th annual PITCH 2012 in the Silicon Valley earlier this year and our inaugural PITCH NYC 2012 in New York last week, we are excited to launch the 6th annual PITCH SF 2013 Startup Competition open to women-led early-stage high-growth ventures around the world!

Companies with at least one female in the founding team are invited to apply. Applying companies must be in beta stage (ie. working prototype) and have received less than a million dollars in funding. We’re looking for the most disruptive web/mobile ventures, connected device companies, etc.

Stay tuned as we will be announcing prizes and judges in the following weeks! Previous competition prizes include meetings with iconic investors Mike Moritz, Esther Dyson and Marc Andreessen.

We are accepting submissions on a rolling basis starting today – November 20, 2013. This means the sooner you apply, the better your chances are of being selected. We will close the application system once the 10 finalists are selected, or on January 1, 2013, whichever comes first.
