ZAOZAO, “the Anthony Bourdain of fashion,” is the latest finalist to be announced for our upcoming PITCH Competition. Congrats to the founders!

Our online judges have been busy reviewing all of the PITCH applications, with our conference now just weeks away. PITCH Finalists will be competing on stage for prize packages that would make any entrepreneur swoon!

Today we are excited to announce our seventh PITCH Finalist ZAOZAO, which combines travel, rich content, and curation in fashion. We’re excited to have ZaoZao bring us on their fashion journey. Watch them pitch live and get feedback from top-shelf investors!

really arghZAOZAO is the ultimate online destination to discover one-of-a-kind pieces made by emerging designers in Asia. Inspired by travel and rich in content and curation, ZAOZAO is the Anthony Bourdain of fashion. The brainchild of Vicky Wu and Ling Cai, ZAOZAO takes you on an adventure to explore exotic locales through fashion, namely unique jewelry, accessories and handbags.

Founder Bios

ZAOZAO was launched officially in September 2012 by Ling Cai and Vicky Wu. Cai is a former buyer at Gucci with extensive experience in fashion, after stints at Oscar de la Renta, Lanvin, and Harper’s Bazaar during her years studying at NYU. Wu is a Harvard graduate and former investment banker at Goldman Sachs. The pair have lived, worked, and have roots in Asia, Europe, and the US and have made it their mission to connect East and West by creating and sharing ZAOZAO with the world.
