Legalize crowdfunding for startups by supporting the JOBS Act today!
By Angie Chang (Co-Founder & Editor-in-Chief, Women 2.0)

Help legalize crowdfunding for startups! Current law forbids startups to raise crowdfund and publicly discuss raising money. The passage of H.R. 3606, the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act, will ease these regulations. The House passed the bill and needs your support to get it through the Senate.

Please join us in supporting the JOBS act by signing the online form here. Deadline to show your support is Monday, March 19 at 9am PST – The Senate vote is Tuesday, March 20, 2012.

As the folks at AngelList said in an appeal to their community for support, “This bill is not only important to our industry, it is important for the creation of jobs throughout the U.S., and our global competitiveness.”
