By Alana Muller (President, Kauffman FastTrac)
Where will you be while millions of people around the world engage in lively, meaningful, important discussions about the entrepreneurial ecosystem? I, myself, will be at the Kauffman FastTrac Global Women’s Summit on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 in Kansas City, MO. Won’t you join me to startup your idea?

Over the past few years, my colleagues and I at Kauffman FastTrac have had the opportunity to work with a number of women in entrepreneurship. Consistently, they have told us that the topics on their minds include building effective boards of directors, developing useful networks of professional contacts, acquiring financing for their businesses, and the like. Having heard it time and time again, we decided to deliver resources to address these specific issues to our constituents and, thus, came up with the idea for the Kauffman FastTrac Global Women’s Summit.

Targeted to aspiring and existing women business owners, the objective of the Summit is to drive support for women owned businesses and to foster the growth of the number of women entrepreneurs. At the Summit, we will cover a variety of critical, relevant, hard-hitting topics that we have learned are most important to success in entrepreneurship. The Summit will feature expert speakers from across the United States who will provide guidance and insight on global trends for women in business, negotiation skills, building boards of directors and advisors, networking skills, financing a business and much more — the same topics that we learned firsthand are on the minds of women in entrepreneurship at all stages of business. Now is the time — Your time.
Seize your opportunity at the Kauffman FastTrac Global Women’s Summit. Whether you are beginning your entrepreneurial journey or determining your next step, you belong there. Enjoy a day to strengthen your mind and your business. Please join me, either in person or via live webcasts of our keynote speakers! For more info and to register, click here.
