Roundup: This Week In Women, New Technology And Startups

Big news came from Y Combinator this week. For the first time, teams can apply for the prestigious Palo Alto-based incubator program without a startup idea. The team, not the particular idea, is what power a startup's success. The deadline to apply is March 28, 2012 for the June - August program. Y Combinator application here.

Another startup accelerator program, Boulder-based TechStars, is currently accepting applications for the Boulder class of startups through today (March 16). The TechStars program in New York announced a class of 14 startups, 6 of which are female founded. That's almost half!
