Spanish entrepreneur Pilar Manchón co-founded Indisys (Intelligent Dialogue Systems). She raised $5 million in Series A funding from Intel Capital and Inveready Group recently to go international with their natural language and dialog management products.

“With Intel Capital’s support, global network and expertise, our potential is growing exponentially and our international expansion will be significantly accelerated, starting with a establishing a presence in the US and further expanding our executive team in Europe. Intel’s investment is not only a great opportunity for Indisys, but it also highlights the growing potential of high tech companies in Spain,” said Indisys CEO Pilar Manchón.

With customers and channel partners in Europe, Latin America, Oceania and the US, this new round of funding will enable Indisys to accelerate its international expansion. Indisys is headquartered in Spain and was launched in 2005. This past summer, Pilar Manchón attended Singularity University, bringing her six year old son to the Silicon Valley with her.

Congratulations to Pilar Manchón and her team at Indisys for raising investment to expand globally – the world is your oyster and we look forward to hearing about your continued success!
