FUNDS RAISED: 22 year old Meredith Perry raising $1M from Founders Fund and other angels for her startup. The Ubeam founder and CEO gave a popular TEDx talk earlier this year on “how to be a technology innovator – without an engineering degree or Asperger’s”.

Previous PITCH applicants and conference attendees may recognize this woman – Aihui Ong raised $645k in seed funding for her startup Love With Food, a subscription food box with a philanthropic twist.

FUNDRAISING: New Android-powered game console OUYA was founded by Los Angeles-based serial gaming executive and current OUYA CEO Julie Uhrman. The project has raised over $2M in funds in the first 2 days of the Kickstarter campaign. Check out the compelling OUYA Kickstarter video that explains their disruptive vision.

Fitness buffs may be interested in sports training watch Bia, founded by CEO Cheryl Kellond and CPO Sylvia Marino, is currently raising funds on Kickstarter and needs to hit their fundraising goal by July 13, 2012 – they are over halfway there! Made by women for women, Bia boasts a GPS-tracked panic button. Get the sports training watch for yourself by supporting Bia on Kickstarter!

If you don’t have a standing desk yet, you probably want posture sensor and mobile app LUMOback, founded by CEO Monisha Perkash. The project will be funded as it has reached its $100k goal – but you can still contribute to LUMOback and soon after, get posture help from the smart posture sensor.

And for the epicurious, Nomiku is fully funded on Kickstarter. Co-founder Lisa Q. Fetterman blogged about designing and prototyping Nomiku at Haxlr8r, a 111-day hardware accelerator in ShenZhen, China.
