A new study finds that women are dominating the angel investor scene.

Angel investing is on the rise, and women are dominating the scene, according to new findings by The Kauffman Foundation Angel Returns Study. On the whole, angel investors earn quite appealing returns, and the number of female angel investors has increased by 80% since last year, resulting in females accounting for 22% of the angel investor population. The study also shows that the majority of female investors contact companies regularly which leads to higher returns.
