Call for applications: Women 2.0 PITCH SF 2013 Startup Competition.

By Angie Chang (Co-Founder & Editor-in-Chief, Women 2.0)

The 6th annual PITCH SF 2013 Startup Competition is now open to women-led startups from all around the world. So, who should apply?

Early-stage companies with at least one female in the founding team are invited to apply. The online application is basically a one-page executive summary. Applying companies must be in beta stage (ie. have a working prototype) and have received less than a million dollars in funding. Prizes will be announced later, but know that previous years prizes include meetings with iconic investors and tons of startup-friendly services.

We know the female founder community is inventive, resourceful and passionate about changing the world – and we want to showcase the best. In this case, 10 finalists will be selected by our judging panel of investors from the pool of applications on a rolling basis. We’re looking for the most disruptive web/mobile ventures, connected device companies, etc. We want to have the best women-led startups onstage at PITCH SF for fame, fortune and prizes on February 14, 2013.

Applications are currently being accepted to PITCH SF 2013 Startup Competition on a rolling basis. The sooner you apply, the better your chances are of being selected. We will close the application system once the 10 finalists are selected, or on January 1, 2013, whichever comes first.
