This week, Vivek Wadhwa on Inc.com featured and pictured Shaherose Charania in a story titled “The Face of Success: Women And Venture Capital”.

Meanwhile, Women 2.0 PITCH Conference speaker Danielle Fong (pictured, right) is touted in Forbes magazine as a “24-year old wunderkind” and venture capitalist Vinod Khosla said he knew within 15 minutes that he wanted to invest, noting her “off-the-charts brilliance”. Khosla has invested $15M in Danielle’s energy startup.

Asked what the word “success” means on Forbes video, LightSail Energy co-founder & chief scientist Danielle Fong thought about it and said slowly, “Success means making a difference for the people and the places and the ideas that you care about.” She is recognized in Forbes “Top 30 Under 30” as a child prodigy developing a new, clean way to store energy on the grid.

Catch Women 2.0 on February 3 at a Founder Friday near you, and on Valentine’s Day for the PITCH Conference at the Computer History Museum!
