Nominations for "40 Women over 40 to Watch" list open thru April 30. By Angie Chang (Co-Founder & Editor-in-Chief, Women 2.0)

Celebrate women over 40 who are successful movers and shakers! Role models are in demand for women, because there are a limited number of Sheryl Sandbergs and Marissa Mayers in the world. I am still looking forward to the day Leah Busque, founder and CEO of TaskRabbit, or Julia Hartz, co-founder and president of Eventbrite, grace the cover of a national magazine.

Cheers to gutsy New Yorkers Whitney Johnson, Christina Vuleta and Jocelyn Bonneau for putting out a call for nominations to the 40 Women to Watch Over 40 list featuring impactful women over 40 years of age. The list will highlight disruptive forces in business, technology and entrepreneurship - women over 40 creating momentum, changing the world.

"We are scouring the world with an open nomination call for women who innovators, role-models and makers, creating momentum and changing the world. We have assembled a high-caliber judging panel with a mix of men and women and age ranges hailing from the tech, entrepreneurial, media and corporate world to cull down the list to the top 40 Women Over 40 to Watch," blogged Whitney.

Nominations will be accepted through April 30, 2013.
