This investor is the newest panelist to be announced. Here’s why we’re excited we nabbed him for our fall “How To” Conference!By Jessica Schimm (Digital Audience Engagement, Women 2.0)
Want to know about growth hacking? Josh Elman is definitely someone you want to talk to, which is why we’re talking with him at our fall “How To” Conference.
Why? He’s worked on growth hacking with some of the biggest companies in tech, including Twitter and Linkedin, and now focuses on product and growth in companies as a partner at Greylock Partners. Elman specializes in scaling consumer products and has been a part of multiple companies that have grown to more than 100 million users.
He was the product lead for growth and relevance at Twitter, growing Twitter’s active user base by nearly 10x and prior to Twitter, Josh led the launch of Facebook Connect. He was also employee number 15 at LinkedIn and helped establish early models for user growth.
Where does Elman think the growth is now? His most recent TechCrunch article might give you a clue:
“As an investor, I couldn’t be more excited about what is happening right now. I feel like so many existing experiences can be reinvented with the right simple gestures on mobile, and the needs and wants of Generation [Touch] are going to become the foundation of many massive companies of the future.”
