Check out the kickstarter for a new online publication that prioritizes entrepreneurial successes and will cover news and events around the world.

My work as a freelance writer and personal journey with female friendships led me to create a new publication that will leave you feeling smart and in the know.
RUBY magazine is a new online publication that will promote female camaraderie and inspire women to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others.
We’ll cover news and events around the world that are inspirational, thought-provoking and stirring.
You’ll find profiles of women partnering to do big, bold things; honest advice and commentary on female friendships; ideas on how to nurture the relationship with yourself. We’ll also produce story packages that inspire a sense of adventure in travel and in everyday life. Those are just a few examples.
RUBY will always be smart, not sensational. We will be witty, never snarky. Our overall concept is inspirational, upbeat and fun, but also informative.
Closer to launch, we’ll be looking for pitches from freelance journalists who are experts at spotting, researching and writing a good story. So, stay tuned!
As a reader and supporter of Women 2.0, I’m sure you had this revelation long before I did. So, I’d like to invite you to check out our Kickstarter campaign, which is raising startup and launch funds for RUBY. More importantly, I want to invite you to the conversation.
Coming to the realization that championing my fellow female was better than competing with her was my “I Saw Red” moment, a lesson that changed my perspective.
So, I want to know: What was your “I Saw Red” moment? Or, what kind of impact have you made by championing another woman?
Leave a comment below or connect with me on Twitter using the #ISawRed hashtag to tell me about your experience. (I’m @Little_K) I’d love to hear all about it and hope that you’ll also take a moment to read and hear more about RUBY...and maybe even contribute to the cause.
Monetary pledges will build an inclusive and supportive online environment with one goal in mind: To lay the foundation for future generations of confident, motivated and inspirational women who make it a point to champion their fellow female.
