We’ve heard all the stats. Women make less than men. Fewer female entrepreneurs get funding than men do. Computer science programs have just a handful of women. The diversity at top tech companies is pathetic.
Yes, it’s all true. But what are we accomplishing by regurgitating these statistics over and over? What about the women who are actually doing something about it?
While many bemoan the sad state of female equality in tech and across other industries, there are women who have paved the way for a more hopeful future. Read on to learn about women who have taken charge and are trying to change the future of technology through their involvement in technical fields.
