Female Founders to Watch: The Women 2.0 San Francisco Conference

Meet some of the incredible female founders who joined us at our February conference.

What does it take to be a founder? A lot.

In addition to having a phenomenal business idea, founders need to know the ins and outs of their industry, be prepared to pitch at a moment’s notice and to really stand out, have a shining personality. To have seemingly never-ending energy, charisma and confidence is just the half of it and we saw plenty of that at our conference.

In an attempt to shake up the format of our weekly female founders to watch list, we decided to interview a few of them for the camera and asked founders about their business and favorite experience so far at the event. Here’s what they had to say:

Jessica Schimm (@JessicaSchimm) is the assistant editor at Women 2.0. She is a recent graduate of San Francisco State where she earned a B.A. in journalism and was the editor-in-chief of SF State’s Her Campus chapter. She has a strong interest in women’s topics and writes about them on her blog.
