As co-founder and CEO of VMware, Diane Greene led the company to an IPO the largest the tech industry has seen since Google's. Recently, she was named to Google's Board of Directors, bringing the number of women on Google's board to 3 out of 10 members.

Sarah Tavel was promoted earlier this week from Senior Associate to Vice President at Bessemer Venture Partners, working out of their Menlo Park office.
She focuses on software and Internet investments, and is closely involved with investments in Pinterest, Metalogix, Yodle, Onestop, Convertro, MindBody, Intego and KupiVIP.
Sarah Tavel was a judge at the Women 2.0 Startup Weekend in November 2011.
