A Founder Friday Thank You + Special Holiday Event

Women 2.0 IS our community, so we’d like to take a moment to thank all of our volunteers, friends and event attendees.

By Sepi Nasiri (VP, Women 2.0) and Arti Sharma (Global Founder Friday Coordinator, Women 2.0)

As Women 2.0 closes out 2013 and with the holidays around the corner, we would like to take a moment to reflect on this year’s achievements and triumphs and express out appreciation for our ever-growing community of smart, achieving women and men in technology. To date, we are in 20 cities around the world and are humbled by the overwhelming support of our community including our 80+ volunteers who dedicate their time and efforts to bring Women 2.0’s mission to their cities and networks.

Women 2.0 Thanks You!

As our community has grown over the past years, so has the Women 2.0 team and initiatives. Women 2.0 would like to introduce our newest addition, Arti Sharma, who as the Global Founder Friday Coordinator will lead all Founder Friday initiatives around the world.

A note from Arti:

I am so excited to be a part of the Women 2.0 team and community of amazing women and men. With my passion for women’s rights and increasing access to education, I can’t wait to increase the Women 2.0 community around the world by launching more Founder Friday cities in 2014.

As the holidays approach us we would like to take the time to thank the thousands of people who joined us at nearly 150 Founder Friday events in more than 20 cities around the world in 2013.

We can’t forget to thank our speakers and influencers who inspired our attendees with their experiences, advice and personal triumphs. The events we put on would not be possible without our sponsors and hosts that have provided the environment for members of our community to get together, share ideas and build networks.

How Can You Participate?

As we approach 2014 we are excited to expand our community to new cities around the world and we are turning to you, the Women 2.0 community to participate. Here’s how you can get involved:

  1. Become a Team Member – To apply send us an email with your resume, a link to your Linkedin profile to founderfriday@women2.com, and tell us the city you’re located in. A member of the Women 2.0  team will contact you shortly after.
