Girls are smarter than boys, the infographic below states. Studies show that at an early age, girls are smarter than boys.

But girls question their ability, losing confidence and self-esteem from elementary years to their teens – even into college.

20% of female computer science students question whether they should be there. Then – only 20% of women with a degree in math or science even work in a related field. So when we ask, “Where are the women in the maths and sciences?” – now you know why.

How To Contribute To Girls And The Future Of Technology

It’s that time of year – did you donate to your local afterschool program supporting girls this year?

From the Technovation Challenge to Techbridge Girls to advance girls in technology in the San Francisco Bay Area, to the broader causes of Girl Scouts and Girls Inc… to great afterschool programs for high school students (BUiLD to foster entrepreneurship in high school students and Summer Math And Science Honors Academy (SMASH Academy) for disadvantaged students, support the next generation of young leaders – financially or as a mentor – or both!
