Yiftee Co-Founders Lori Laub And Donna Novitsky Raise $850k For Local Gifting

Both founders of Yiftee are seasoned executives at tech companies.

Menlo Park-based startup Yiftee is a local gifting service, raising $850k in seed funding from Scott Cook, Mohr Davidow Ventures and angel investors. So how does Yiftee work? Purchase a gift for a friend online at the local-minded Yiftee, like you would a Facebook gift for a birthday or occasion. The recipient is notified electronically (email, SMS or Facebook) and picks up the gift from the local business.

Yiftee co-founder Donna Novitsky was formerly the CEO of Big Tent (acquired by Federated Media in 2010) and prior to that, a venture partner at Mohr Davidow Ventures for almost 9 years. Her co-founder Lori Laub has been an acting CIO and/or VP Services for various software and Internet companies.

Congrats to the Yiftee team on the seed funding!
