Today is March 8 - Happy International Women's Day!

Women 2.0 celebrates women in 17 cities around the world tonight at Founder Friday networking mixers - come join us! Aspiring and current entrepreneurs are welcome to connect, inspire and educate each other on the startup process.

Here are female founders to watch working on global high-growth startups all around the world:

Cristina Randall (Co-Founder, Conekta) Engineer Cristina Randall co-founded Conekta, an e-commerce platform in the cloud for businesses in Mexico. Conekta is part of the 500 Startups / Mexican VC portfolio of companies. Follow her on Twitter at @clrandall.

Cristina Galán (Co-Founder, Bitcarrier) Barcelona-based mompreneur Cristina Galán co-founded Bitcarrier, the leading provider of a real-time traffic management and information system used by both public entities and the private sector. Follow her on Twitter at @cgalanb.

Cjin Cheng (Co-Founder, Cubie Messenger) Hailing from Taiwan, Cjin Cheng co-founded Cubie Messenger, a mobile app that lets you create and share drawings while chatting. Gisella Borja (Co-Founder & CTO, Dashbell) Recently graduated from TechStars Boston, Gisella Borja is building Dashbell, an "OpenTable for independent hotels". Kavita Parmar (Founder & CEO, IOU Project) Spanish fashion designer Kavita Parmar founded IOU Project to provide traceability to the fashion industry. Marta Esteve (Co-Founder, Rentalia & Soy Super) Earlier this year, Marta Esteve sold her European vacation rental platform Rentalia to Idealista. Patricia Araque (Founder & President, Ellas 2.0) Madrid-based serial entrepreneur Patricia Araque founded Ellas 2.0, the sister organization to Women 2.0 to increase the number of female entrepreneurs in tech in Latin American countries. Follow her on Twitter at @PatriciaAraque.

Tahiana D'Egmont (Co-Founder & CEO, UniPay & Mimpi) Hailing from Brazil, digital entrepreneur Tahiana D'Egmont heads mobile payments company Mimpi. Thuy Truong (Co-Founder & CEO, Greengar) Flying in from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, Thuy Truong pitched her startup Greengar at last month's Women 2.0 conference, charming the investors/judges for funds to develop and market their flagship product, Smartboard. Follow her on Twitter at @thuymuoi.

Wendy Tan White (Co-Founder & CEO, Moonfruit) As a computer science major who worked in finance, Wendy Tan White started London-based website and online shop builder Moonfruit with her husband in 2000.
