We were thrilled to announce the finalists selected for PITCH Las Vegas, 2014. Now, with just 14 days to go until the big conference, we wanted to round up these ten incredible companies, chosen from more than 100 applications from around the world, all in one place. Each startup has demonstrated high-growth potential, has at least one female founder and raised less than a million dollars in funding to date. On November 15, 2013 they will have the opportunity to pitch live in front of a panel of judges for the opportunity to win prizes including key startup resources like cloud services from Rackspace and office space from Silicon Valley Pad, as well as meetings with iconic investors with Kevin Rose and Shanna Tellerman of Google Ventures and Esther Dyson. Totspot is a mobile marketplace for savvy moms to discover, buy and sell great quality used kids items such as toys, clothes, baby gear and books. Totspot combines rich image based product discovery with mobile commerce to provide moms with a joyful shopping experience right from their smartphone. Selling on Totspot is incredibly easy. Moms can sell either by taking snaps and listing items themselves, or they can simply tap a button and summon the Totspot concierge to pickup, price, list and sell your kids items. During its private beta, 56% of the users were active on a daily basis. The app will be available for download for SF Bay Area parents starting November.
