By Ayesha Rizvi (Editorial & Multimedia Assistant, Women 2.0)

Seasons come and go but there are always people looking for jobs and others looking to hire. With information at our fingertips, the hiring process should be pretty simple right? Contrary to popular belief, the hiring process for most companies is extremely difficult. Let’s face it, you have to find the right team member, who fits well with the existing workforce and can produce work up to the company’s standards. With that, we bring you our third video in the HowTo series and it’s about how to hire engineers; more specifically, female engineers, but tips shared by CEO of Women Who Code, Alaina Percival, can be applied to all genders in the field.

About Alaina Percival

Alaina Percival is currently CEO and Board Chair of Women Who Code, a global non-profit dedicated to inspiring women to excel in technology careers. She spent the first years of her career working at PUMA, headquartered in Germany, managing the company’s most innovative products. Four years ago, she moved into tech and last January, Yahoo! acquired the startup where she was Director of Marketing.
