We’re thrilled to announce the first of ten finalists for our PITCH Competition at our Las Vegas conference in November 14-15, 2013: DailyDollar.com!
Founder Morgan Giddings will pitch live on stage. The app aims to end the reign of the receipt by allowing customers to make returns without toting around (easy-to-lose) scraps of paper. DailyDollar partners with merchants to send receipts straight to the cloud, hopefully ending wallet bulge for good. Customers get easier returns while marketers get access to detailed transaction data.
Prior to founding DailyDollar, Giddings was a client liaison to Fortune 500 companies for client development at a speakers bureau, placing over $1 million in sales. She started her career at Microsoft, on the Worldwide Partner Event and the Public Sector team, and has an MBA and an extensive network. Once thing she lacks? A full-time CTO. DailyDollar hopes to use its funding to hire one.
Are you a startup with less than $1 million in funding and at least one female founder? Applications for PITCH are still open with the next round of applications closing this August 31st. Or if you’re keen to see the finalists present their startups live and in person, conference tickets are still available. Get an even better deal by signing up for a Women 2.0 membership.
