FLOODGATE partner Ann Miura-Ko will be speaking at the Women 2.0 conference on February 14, 2013 in San Francisco. A highly respected investor in the Silicon Valley, Ann invests in innovations in e-commerce, security and big data through the FLOODgate Fund.
Aside from her career as an investor, Ann is a lecturer in the School of Engineering at Stanford University, where she earned her PhD focused on mathematical modeling of computer security. She teaches High Tech Entrepreneurship with Steve Blank, and is a frequent lecturer in courses such as Technology Venture Formation, High-tech Entrepreneurship and the Mayfield Fellows Program.
FLOODGATE Fund announced in August 2012 closing a $75M fund for investment in early-stage high-growth ventures using technology to accelerate business. FLOODGATE portfolio company Kongregate, co-founded by SVP Emily Greer, was acquired by GameStop in 2010.
