You’ll notice that very few of these women are technologists but, rather, specialize in consulting, marketing or sales.

So, there’s not much of a difference between current and pre-2009 trends.

Let’s hope that the 2010 list includes more engineers and developers.

    this is a fantastic list.

two impressive “web 2” women entrepreneurs i met this year who are not mentioned are:

    Alicia Navarro, founder/CEO Skimlinks
    Victoria Ransom, founder/CEO WildfireApp.com

all of these women can and should be role models. we need to get the word out them and how they are succeeding in an overly male dominated world.

Progress… not nearly enough yet for this dad, but getting there.

  • http://learntoduck.com Micah Baldwin

What I also find interesting is that the women in tech have (generally) such a positive voice. Most arent comfortable sitting in the shadows.

  • http://www.thebillionairegirl.com Espree Devora

LOVE LOVE LOVE this list. I know a few of the women and they are amazing. We went through ASTIA together. I put together a fun video this week showcasing 3 of us with our companies… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqcx_4PgSEQ
